Students who request to drive for their UW-Madison departments can:
1. Sign in to Learn at UW-Madison using your University log-in.
2. In the top right corner, click on self-registration. Under course offering name, select Fleet Vehicle Training. Under the description box, select the button labeled Register. Under the registration form, enter your cell phone and list your Hoofer Club under student organization. Click Submit, then Finish.
3. Go to the Content tab and watch the Fleet Training videos and take the quiz.
4. Complete a driver-authorization form (Hoofers has its own) and turn it in to your advisor for signing.
5. Check online to see if you have been approved. The process takes about 10 days.
If you are not a student, you can also watch the videos on Youtube (Video 1, Video 2, Video 3, Video 4, then take the quiz at the Outdoor Programs Office when you turn in your forms.
